BIOGRAPHIE
Native de Kinnear’s Mills, petit patelin situé dans la région de Chaudière-Appalaches au Québec, j’ai pris racines en Estrie il y a plus de vingt ans afin de profiter de la proximité de sa nature et de ses décors.
Dès mon tout jeune âge, les arts ont attiré mon attention et se sont emparés de mon imagination. La famille, la campagne, la couture, la décoration et le travail du bois ont fait partie intégrante de mon parcours créatif. J'ai œuvré pendant plusieurs année dans le domaine du service à la clientèle ce qui m'a apporté une belle sensibilité. Mon rôle de mère m'a également permis de voir la beauté dans les petites choses toutes simples.
Suite à une période plus orageuse de ma vie, je me suis tournée vers la peinture afin de me recentrer sur ma nature profonde, ce qui réanima du même coup mon imaginaire artistique. Le pinceau et la toile sont devenus mon point d'ancrage. Ils m'apportent un bien-être intérieur.
Depuis, mon regard s'est éveillé à ce qui façonne mon quotidien. Les formes, les couleurs et les ombres me fascinent et me stimulent. Peindre est devenu pour moi un besoin viscéral, une source intarissable de bonheur et une soif infinie d'apprendre, ce qui procure à ma créativité, un univers infini de possibilités.
Merci à ma mère qui par son talent manuel, a influencé ma fibre d'artiste et à mon père qui m'a appris à aimer la campagne et ses beautés. Merci à mon conjoint, qui me soutient dans ma démarche et m'encourage à aller toujours plus loin. Merci également à ma famille et mes amis qui me supportent et qui me partagent leurs bons mots.

DÉMARCHE
Peintre autodidacte de style figuratif-réaliste et abstrait, mon cœur s’est tourné tout d'abord vers l’acrylique mais je me laisse également séduire par la douceur de l'aquarelle. J'ai suivi quelques cours avec un artiste peintre afin de me perfectionner mais je laisse surtout mon instinct me guider.
Le règne animal m'inspire, les paysages pour leurs mille et une beautés néanmoins ma quête d'exploration m'empêche de me cantonner dans un style en particulier. Je laisse à ma créativité la chance de déployer ses ailes en expérimentant toutes sortes de techniques. Je peins au gré des émotions qui m’habitent en me laissant porter par la vague du mouvement.

BIOGRAPHICAL NOTE
I was born in Kinnear’s Mills, a small town located in the Chaudière-Appalaches region of Quebec. I moved to the Eastern Townships more than twenty years ago to enjoy its proximity to nature and landscapes.
The arts drew my intention at a very early age and caught my imagination. Family, countryside, sewing, decoration and woodworking were integral components of my creative journey. I worked for several years in the field of customer service, which enhanced my sensitivity. My role of mother enabled me to appreciate the beauty of small and simple things.
Once past a more difficult period of my life, I turned to painting in order to refocus on my inner self, thus reviving my artistic imagination. Shapes, colors and shadows fascinate and stimulate me. Painting has become a visceral need, an inexhaustible source of happiness, as well as an infinite thirst for learning; my creative process is nurtured by a world of possibilities.

ARTIST APPROACH
Though self-taught in the figurative realism and abstract styles, I eventually ventured into acrylics, seduced by the delicate nature of watercolors. I attended a few courses with a painter to self improve but also nurture my instinct.
The animal kingdom inspires me, as well as landscapes with their thousand and one beauties. However, my quest to explore does not confine me to one style in particular. This allows my creative process to spread its wings by exploring all kinds of techniques. I want my soul to imprint each of my works. I paint the emotions within me, willing to glide with the moving wave.
